"Some of His Favorite Things"

Tavin has gained a lot of little quirks as he has gotten older and I wanted to share some of his favorite things. He loves to try on shoes and hats. Check these converses out-cute huh. We have started a hat basket for him-he will entertain himself for hours sitting in front of a mirror and looking at himself in different hats. A cowboy hat, a chicken hat, a lion hat, a graduation cap, etc. I'll have to post some pictures of that later.
He loves to swing-especially with Daniel pushing him-it sometimes makes me nervous how high Daniel pushes him-but Tavin just begs for more.
We got him an army tent that he crawls through and hides from me in:)
And, he can spot any plane in the sky-pointing it out to me even before I see it.
Favorite food: defintely M&MS! Newest words: Stuck and Crash.
He already wanting to drive-the closest he's gotten is the red and and yellow fisherprice ride-in car.

Funny Stories of The Week

1) I was joking around with Daniel about his facial hair the other night, it was getting quite fuzzy because he hadn't shaved in a couple days

I said, "Man you look hot with your facial hair that long."

Tavin was sitting on Daniel's lap and responded by pointing at Dan and saying,

"hot!" and blowing on Daniel's face:)

We tell him when his food is hot and we need to blow on it-he picked it up and uses it for other things now too!

2) For some reason Tavin has gained a fear of dogs-we've been working on it-trying to show him doggies are nice.

Today, when I put on a movie, one of the advertisements was for 101 Dalmatians. As soon as he saw all the dogs he started to slap the TV and say, "No doggies, No!"

It was funny but hopefully we can get his out of this stage!

Sunny Summer Time

Playing with Cousin Chett at grandma Marlene's house-Tavin loved this marble game-he likes "Technical things"

Check out the similarity in the 2 redheads of the family-Ethan's is on top and Tavin is on the right side~

It is time again for a little update. We have been VERY busy this summer with lots of fun activities. We went to ride the carousel in one of Rexburg's parks, we've been to the sand bar just down the road from our house, we've traveled to see family in Glenns Ferry and Utah, and we have participated in community events: the 4th of July parade, and Saint Anthony's 24th of July Pioneer day events. There was a musical- "Suessical the Musical", a parade, and a rodeo. We LOVE all the community family events here and are excited to make them traditions for our family.

Daniel is now working on our yard-which is a big dirt pile right now-we are installing a sprinkler system next Saturday and grass in the coming weeks.

I am heartily pregnant as you can tell in the picture above-but doing well and am excited for my little girl to come in 2 months

Tavin is learning and growing so much! He has quite a developed vocabulary and loves playing with other kids!
