Let Freedom Ring

We had a very busy but very fun fourth of July. My grandparents came to visit and we spent the day with them as well as my Aunt and Uncle and cousins. We started off our day with a pancake breakfast in the morning, the Rexburg parade in the afternoon and then a neighborhood party in my Uncle and Aunt's development-where we ate, played games, got wet, and watched fireworks. Daniel won the chocolate pie eating contest and felt very full for the next couple hours, Tavin found out that he likes Cheetos and made a new friend. The girls just can't resist him. My grandpa won the game of horse shoes. And Tavin cuddled with mom during the fireworks-not sure at first about them but then liking the colors and pointing at them. We were exhausted at the end of the day!

More room pictures

Here are some more of the room pictures. Ignore the bathroom cause that still has to be done-and we are getting new doors-thus the missing door:) But we love our room~now the fun of decorating it.

HE IS SOOOO CLOSE!

Our boy is so close to walking and I can't wait cause he is getting too heavy for a six month pregnant lady to lug around. He now practices daily with this push toy and I can tell he likes the freedom. Everyone cross their fingers that he will do it on his own fairly soon after a couple days or weeks with the toy. The doctor is condfident that Tavin is as healthy as a kid could be and just is doing things on his own time. Mommy wants the time to be now:)

Remodeled Master Bedroom

Daniel has been working on our master bedroom ever since we moved in a year and a half ago-last week he finally finished it and man do I love it! For not getting professional help-I am amazed at what Dan was able to acomplish. When we first bought the house, it had wood panneling in that room and in the closet, orange carpet, old windows, fake wood doors, etc. Now it has crown molding around the top of the room, new windows and blinds, new base board, new sheet rock and paint, and new carpet. He also did the same in our walk in closet-as well as added shelving. Here is a pciture of the closet. More pictures on the room coming soon!
