The excitment continued as we colored eggs with the cousins, ate LOTS of very SUGARY treats, and had a less crowded easter egg hunt with the cousins.We also had a little talk with Tavin and Katie about what Easter really celebrates-Jesus died on the cross for all of us so that we can live again as families forever-just like he did 3 days after his death. I am so thankful for this act of deep love and compassion for all of us. Because of his sacrifice, I get to have my family for eternity and that is everything to me.
