Apples Coming Out Our Ears!

After the first frost it was apple picking time in our backyard. We had some friends come over and pick some while we were away in UT so we expected to only have a bag or two. Oh no, the top half of the tree was very plentiful this year and it rained apples as Daniel shook the tree to get them down. We had fun collecting them all. Now for what to do with them....my family does not eat apple sauce so I have decided to try some other apple based treats: apple pie filling, caramel apples, caramel dipping sauce, apple cider, and apple juice. I will report back on how it all goes!
